The syrian civil war began on March 15th 2011 and it continues to this day. As of June 2021, an estimated 606,000 Syrians have died since the war began. There are 6.6 million refugees, 6.2 Syrians who have been displaced, and half of the people affected by the crisis are children. Vital buildings like hospitals, schools, and water systems have been destroyed, leaving only rubble and destruction. COVID-19 has also worsened the crisis as 1.1 million syrian refugees and displaced Syrians have been driven into poverty. Currently, more than 80% of Syrians live in extreme poverty, making less than $1.90 a day. They're in need of the basics such as clothing, water, food, healthcare, and shelter, and by your donation the lives of many Syrians can be significantly improved.
