Dear Friends & Family,

For nearly 100 years, Save the Children has done whatever it takes to create a world where no child dies from a preventable cause, all children learn from a quality basic education, and violence against children is not tolerated. Where every child has the best chance for a bright future. 

I arrive at 70 years of age full of gratitude for my life of good health and good fortune.  I also feel a great responsibility to be part of this fundraising community.  The plight of the immigrant children at the borders fleeing violence is especially heartbreaking.

Thank you for helping facilitate change in our country and across the globe.
