Polar Bear Plunge 2020
ABOUT OUR EVENT
It's winter so you know what that means...recklessly exposing yourself to the elements while your colleagues, friends and loved ones look on in dismay.
Join us at Jennings Beach in Fairfield, CT on Sunday, February 16th at 11:00am to take a plunge into the Long Island Sound and find out the true meaning of "bone-chilling".
This is our 2nd Annual outing and our goal is to make it bigger and better (but not colder) than the year before.
Tell your friends, all are welcome! Except hypothermia. Hypothermia is not welcome.
All money raised will go to Save the Children's Mission Support fund.
Prize given out for most money raised by an individual.
Trophy given out for as-yet-to-be-determined accomplishment.
BRING SHOES to jump in with! Nothing worse than cutting your foot on a seashell in frigid waters.
An ambulance will be on-site.
There will NOT be bathrooms or other shelter available, so you'll need to find a creative way to change out of your wet clothes.
Coffee and donuts will be provided.
