Yemen is facing one of the largest humanitarian crises in the world, with around 23.7 million people in need of assistance, with 13 million children in need of not only food assistance, but also around 10,000 of whom have been recruited to fight in the civil war that began this catastrophe. In addition, around 2 million of these children have been forced out of school due to the damage their schools face and the significantly lower access to health facilities . Over half of the health facilities in Yemen are not available for use, and most of the ones that do remain lack basic operational equipment.
