FOUR marathons, FOUR months
It's easy to get caught up in the struggles and difficulties of life, and forget about the abundance of blessings that we have right in front of us. As humans, it’s easy for us to fixate on the negative things.
One thing I am inspired by, is people who show incredible resilience in tough situations, especially kids who push forward despite huge challenges. It's humbling to watch them fight for their lives, or to see their parents working tirelessly to give them the best possible future.
This is a constant reminder for me on how strong humans can be when we're faced with adversity. It also reminds m e to cherish every moment of life and be grateful for what we have in front of us.
When I invested in fitness it was all about challenging my body and mind to do hard things. When I got into running, it was for the same purpose. So, I wanted to find a way to combine my passion for challenging myself with supporting a child's battle in seeking a better future.
