I decided to put meaning behind my miles and support Save the Children!
I began running about 10 years ago in 2013 as part of a fundraiser for a foster care and adoptions non profit that I worked for. Since then, I’ve completed countless of 5ks, 10ks, half marathons, obstacle races, and even a full marathon. I was the opposite of athletic growing up and I never pictured myself running races (specially enjoying them). As I get back into running, I want to combine challenging myself with fundraising for a great cause.
For more than 100 years, Save the Children has done whatever it takes to create a world where no young child dies from a preventable cause, all children learn from a quality basic education, and violence against children is not tolerated. Where every child has the best chance for a bright future. I'm proud to make my miles matter for kids across the world. Please support my efforts by donating to my page today!
In love and gratitude,
Elia
