Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all my family and friends!

Tis the season for merry and charity, and I thought what better way to give than to “donate my birthday” to Save the Children. This party is not only a 70th birthday celebration for myself, but also an ideal opportunity to give to a great cause. In lieu of personal birthday gifts for me, I would like to request that you donate directly to this charity through this easy-to-use fundraising page.

I am now part of a community of fundraisers who will help Save the Children get closer to their goal of reaching every last child. For every dollar you contribute 87% goes to direct services for children, 5% for management and 8% for fundraising. This makes this charity one of the most dollar efficient in terms of delivery of impactful services for children. Services are provided both within the US and internationally, wherever there is global need.

I have set my fundraising goal for $2,000. I encourage you to give whatever you can afford in the spirit of the Christmas season, be it $30, $50, $75 or $100.
