Friends and Family -
Yes…I signed up for another race and yes….I’m asking for your support again :) On August 25th I will be participating in the 2019 Chicago Triathlon on behalf of Team Save the Children. The organization’s mission is to help support children who are living in poverty, struggling to get a proper education, and who don’t have access to healthcare. For almost 100 years, Save the Children has made strides to give underprivileged and at-risk kids the best chance at a bright future.
I will be competing in the International Olympic race and while the thought of a .93 mile open water swim, 24.8 mile bike, and 6.2 mile run is a little intimidating, it’s nothing compared to the obstacles that some children have to face every day. I’m proud to be racing on behalf of a team and cause that’s much bigger than myself.
I have set a fundraising goal of $500 and have already personally contributed. If you would like to support me and this cause, I invite you to donate what you can to help me reach my goal. No donation is too large or small and every dollar makes a difference!
Thank you so much for your support! Please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to learn more about Team Save the Children. And pray that I don’t drown.
