Did you know that nearly 90% of a child’s brain is developed by the time they turn 5? Yet children from low-income families hear roughly 30 million fewer words by age 3 and can enter school more than 18 months behind their more affluent peers.
We’re currently facing the worst hunger crisis in a century. Over 9 million kids in the US are facing hunger and nearly 8 million children are at risk of death from severe malnutrition globally.
