Children's Emergency Fund

When disaster strikes, children are the most vulnerable.
- Save the Children's Country Director in Yemen, Rama Hansraj

Children should be protected in the aftermath of disaster and in the midst of conflict. That's why Save the Children is helping children in the U.S. and around the world to prepare for and recover from disasters, from extreme flooding to deadly heat waves. As severe weather, crippling poverty and war continue to impact children's lives, your fundraising support today can help save lives.

The students of the Lycee Francais de New York school created a mural to memorialize children affected by conflict and also raised money for the cause.

Children in Crisis Mural

A mural fundraiser was held by students of the Lycee Francais de New York school. They raised $11,000 in one day! The students were worried about the dire situation of the kids in Gaza with the ongoing violence, but the intent was to memorialize all children affected by conflict. They sold paper hands and flowers to be placed on the mural. They sold out and rushed to make more. It was a heartwarming success!
